By accessing or using RatesOnTap ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

Description of Service

RatesOnTap is a smart attribution tracking and Google review redirect system that:

  • Provides QR codes and shortened URLs that redirect to Google review pages
  • Tracks attribution data including source, host, and timing information
  • Offers analytics and reporting features for business clients
  • Facilitates review collection for local businesses

User Responsibilities

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any fraudulent or deceptive practices
  • Attempt to manipulate or game Google's review system
  • Generate fake or misleading reviews
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Use the Service to harm others or damage our reputation

Business Client Responsibilities

If you are a business using our Service:

  • You must have legitimate rights to solicit reviews for your business
  • You must comply with Google's review policies and guidelines
  • You are responsible for training your staff on appropriate use
  • You must not incentivize positive reviews or penalize negative ones
  • You agree to use attribution data responsibly and in compliance with privacy laws

Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

Business clients acknowledge that they are responsible for complying with applicable data protection laws regarding any personal data they access through our analytics features.

Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but cannot guarantee 100% uptime. The Service is provided "as is" and we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with or without notice.

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by RatesOnTap and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of our Service.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless RatesOnTap and its licensee and licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers and directors, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees).

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.
